General Studio FAQ

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, all clients are required to sign our studio agreement before their session. This protects both you and our studio. You can review the agreement in advance and sing it at time of booking online. 

What types of content can I create in your studio?

Our studio is equipped for various content creation options, including photography, videography, music recording, podcasting, and other forms of digital content creation. All content must comply with our studio policies and applicable laws.

Can I bring guests or team members?

Yes, you can bring your team members or a limited number of support guests. Please inform us in advance about the number of people attending to ensure we have adequate space. Please note they may be asked to wait in the lobby while you’re in session.

What's your cancellation policy?

We require a non-refundable deposit to book your session. If you need to cancel, please inform us as soon as possible. While the deposit is non-refundable, we may be able to reschedule your session depending on our availability. We request at least 48 hours' notice for rescheduling to avoid additional fees.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, and major digital payment methods. A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due on the day of your session before it begins.

Is there parking available at the studio?

Yes, we have limited available spots for our clients. If the spots are full there is street parking nearby. 

Do I retain the rights to the content I create in your studio?

For Photography/Videography: The Studio retains copyright of all images/footage. The Client is granted a license for personal use. Commercial rights may be negotiated with the studio for an additional fee.

For Music Recording: The Client retains all rights to the master recordings and compositions created during the session.

 

The Studio may use short excerpts (no more than 30 seconds) or select images of the material for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
 

Am I responsible for what happens with my content after I create it in your studio?

Yes, you are solely responsible for your content, its distribution, and any consequences that may arise from it. Our studio provides the space and equipment but is not involved in content decisions or distribution.
Studio Policies and Conduct

Can the studio ask me to leave if they don't like my content?

The studio reserves the right to ask any client to leave if their content or behavior violates our policies, disrupts others, or is deemed inappropriate. This decision is at the studio's sole discretion.

If I'm asked to leave, will I get a refund?

No, if you're asked to leave due to policy violations or inappropriate behavior, no refund will be provided for the time or services unused. You will be responsible for any damages.

How long does a typical session last?

Session lengths vary depending on the project and type of content. Photography sessions typically last 1-2 hours, while music recording sessions can range from a few hours to multiple days. We'll discuss your specific needs when booking.

Can I book multiple sessions or extended time?

Yes, we offer packages for multiple sessions and can accommodate extended booking times. Please discuss your requirements with us when making your reservation.

What happens if I'm late for my session?

We kindly ask all clients to arrive on time for their sessions. If you're late, your session will still end at the scheduled time and will not be extended. No refunds will be provided for time lost due to late arrival. If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible.

Can I bring food and drinks to the studio?

Yes, you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks, especially for longer sessions. We have a full kitchen available for client use, including a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Please clean up after yourself and dispose of any trash in the provided bins. Food and drinks must remain in the kitchen area.

Yes, you retain all rights to your original music. Our studio fees cover the use of our facilities and services, not ownership of your creative work.
